Hammons Petitions Koblenz Court for “Stay of Execution”

Friday, April 25, 2025 (Bad Kreuznach, Germany) – The Chairman of the Unity Party, working to expand the Party to parts of this planet not (yet) beholden to the whims and “mercy” of an American President no longer beholden to the rule of law, and perhaps garnering a remainder of a life outside a Central American prison as an incidental fringe benefit, has filed a petition with a court in the state of his birth to request the time necessary to properly file an immigration appeal.

“I’ll just share a laugh with the English-speaking world that one initial translation of aufschiebende Wirkung I came across was ‘stay of execution,’ and that certainly is what it felt like, before I faxed and mailed the paperwork to the court as I was instructed,” says Unity Chair of America Bill Hammons. “We’ll see if my German hosts remember the history that led to the 1948 Declaration of Human Rights, not to mention the history of the Cold War (hint: they owe Yours Truly a chance and his late father a favor), and chalk up a win for any sense of humanity by giving this fighter for his own freedom and that of others a breather from the bureaucratic developments growing only more ludicrous by the day.
