Unity Party of Dominica Launched; Calling Convention

Thursday, January 16, 2025 (Somewhere on a Little Blue Marble that needs a little Uniting) – To advance the cause of Unitism around the globe, to demonstrate to that same world how the addition of a 51st state with 60,000 (give or take) US citizens could be peacefully and productively United with the lightning-in-a-bottle nation that is the United States of America (Trump notwithstanding), and perhaps to simply do the right for the people of Dominica, the Unity Party has launched the Unity Party of Dominica (https://unitypartyamerica.us/unity-party-dominica).

“As a true Uniter, when I see an injustice involving any citizen of the world anywhere in the world, I feel it incumbent upon me to do something about it,” says (interim) Unity Party of Dominica Chair Andrew Giusto. “It’s clear that the current government hasn’t done right by the people, I’ve put a lot of research and thought into how we can make that right in practical ways, and I invite all Dominicans (Dominiquens?) to join us at our next Forward Friday to discuss how we can move forward with a national party convention and take it from there.”

“I’d like to thank Andrew for bringing all of this to the attention of his fellow Uniters, and I’ve done my own research and thinking,” says United National Committee Chair Bill Hammons. “Thanks to the current Dominican government’s Golden Passport scheme (name changes to Dominique and Dominiquen, anyone? [It sort of helps our cause that the regime can’t spell “Dominica” properly, no?]) and the failure to funnel those ill-gotten gains into so much as a properly-working email account, the Unity Party has a golden opportunity to create a gazillion opportunities for 73,000 future Americans (we’ll work it out later whether 20,000+ randos should be rewarded for their dollars with US citizenship). The Dominican Powers That Be also couldn’t be bothered to ban foreign investment of the political variety, and so I encourage all Uniters of the world to donate to the new Unity Party of Dominica and power true democracy. The most certain thing: the cleaning needs to start with that email account. Forward UP.”
