Unity Founder Hammons: Remember the Alamo, Free World

Thursday, March 6, 2025 (Bad Kreuznach, Germany) – On the 189th anniversary of the Fall of the Alamo, the Twice-Texan founder of the Unity Party of America (https://unitypartyamerica.us), born 50 years ago facing the tip of the combined East German and Soviet forces waiting for the slightest excuse to invade Western Europe, would like to remind his once-and-again German hosts, not to mention what now remains of the Free World, what’s at stake for surviving democracies.

“We’ll save more details of the Austin Brigade proposal for another day, no more than what was included in today’s letter of note,” says Unity Chair and Twice Texan Bill Hammons. “Just to suffice it to say, here during another early-spring European evening, as we remember the Thermopylae of America, that the many shouldn’t dismiss the sacrifices of the few. Brave? Are you brave when you have no choice? I’d ask US Army Major Rich Hammons that, but he was one of the few.

“Take your local Texan out for a margarita this evening (March 6, 1836 was the day of a Mexican victory after all), and enjoy every pleasant moment as it comes. And for those who’ve reached out to me to posit that Trump (or more accurately, in my opinion, Trump’s heir) will willingly and democratically give up power after a free and fair election in 2028, when all the ill-gotten tools of power are in that man’s hands, I only have the four D’s: Democracy done died, dude. Forward UP.”
