Unity Party Chair Bill Hammons has begun the exploratory phase of a 2028 run for the Presidency.
Alan Lee will also be seeking the Party’s 2028 Presidential nomination.
2024 Unity Party Veep nominee and Hoosier Uniter Donnie Harold Harris will separately be seeking the Vice Presidential nomination.
Damion “Darkhorse” Hays is a 2026 Candidate for Governor of California
Herb Morgan is a 2026 Candidate for State Controller of California
Jingchao Xiong is a 2026 Candidate for California’s Congressional District 11
Gus Mattammal is a 2026 Candidate for California Superintendent of Public Instruction

Note that these are not yet nominations (nominations will be decided at conventions as appropriate), and fellow Uniters are welcome to announce their own intentions to seek Unity Party nominations, including for the 2026 election.

Monday, November 10, 2025 (Patrick Henry Village, Germany) – The Founder and first Chair of the Unity Party of Colorado, where it all began, has circled the circle to, once again, by appointment, become Chairman of the Unity Party of Colorado.

“I’d like to thank all of those folks back in Colorado who stayed true to form and didn’t show up to disrupt a three-minute convention,” says United National Committee and United Colorado Committee Chair Bill Hammons. “I’ll be officially notifying the Colorado Secretary of State’s office later this week that I was also nominated to fill the vacancies of Vice Chair, Assistant Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and Senior Colorado Representative on the United National Committee.

“Tomorrow is of course rightly a holiday in Colorado and many other parts of the world honoring the end of war and the veterans of war, and I’m not in any hurry to email an empty office. Perhaps I’ll send the official email at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, Central European Time of course, to honor my father and others, marking an end to a pretty nasty civil war between true Uniters and former, between those who want to make the world a better place, no matter what it takes, and those who just want to take freedom down with them. Forward UP.”
