FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Unity Designates Aug. 9th Forward Friday Presidential Convention

Wednesday, July 10, 2024 (Sarajevo) – Per the Unity Party Constitution, the Chairman of the United National Committee of the Unity Party of America (www.unitypartyamerica.us) has designated the August 9th Forward Friday meeting of the United National Committee a Presidential Convention. The convention will be held online at 12 noon Pacific time and open to the public.

“Due to inquiries of interest in a national Unity Party nomination, I’m hereby calling a Presidential convention to be held concurrently with our monthly UNC meeting,” says Unity Party Chair Bill Hammons. “Along with the actual nominations for President and Vice President, proposals for new amendments to the Unity Party Constitution to address national nomination vacancy issues will also be voted upon. At the levels of both Unity Party and United States, recent and ongoing events have demonstrated that clear ground rules need to be established. The Unity Party can’t do anything about the real-time dumpster fire that is the Democrats’ Presidential nomination ticket, nor the smoldering dumpster fire that is the Republican nomination, but we can certainly fix Unity’s.”
