Continuity of Democracy

Please join and support the Unity Party of America as we start the work of helping to preserve American democratic institutions as they are being (as of February 2025 ) swiftly and systemically destroyed by the Trump administration.

Of most immediate concern (in the eyes of the Unity Party leadership) is the recent (and illegal) “firing” of Federal Election Commission Chair Ellen Weintraub (the President does have the power to fire the Chair of the FEC, but only after a replacement has been approved by the United States Senate). A very telling and chilling aspect of this attempted dismissal is that the President has not even begun the pretense of naming Weintraub’s replacement. All indications are that this is the only the beginning of the dismantling of American demoracy as we know it (249 years: not a bad run).

To the point: the United National Committee does not recognize the dismissal of Chairwoman Weintraub, therefore considers to still be the chair of the FEC, and would like to be in contact with her to hear her opinions, as FEC Chair, regarding various issues, including but not limited to her opinions on international political activism (the Unity Party is currently expanding into Germany [among other countries] and American campaign finance law could be clarified).

Again, please let her know the United National Committee still recognizes her and would like to be in touch with her once again (the Founder and Chair of the Party once traded emails with her regarding a matter before the FEC).
