Hearts of Iron 4 Prompts “Unity Party in Pop Culture” Section On Site

March 29, 2024 (Friday) – A “UPA in Pop Culture” section outlining, among other things, the detailed portrayal of party co-founder Hammons and the Unity Party in the Red World mod of the Hearts of Iron IV video game, has been launched on the rapidly expanding Unity Party of America website www.unitypartyamerica.us.

“Now that we finally have the main contacts for all 45 state Unity Parties listed on www.unitypartyamerica.us, it’s time to have a bit of levity,” says United National Committee Chair Bill Hammons. “Those who’ve been following the Unity Party for years can recall that in 2020 I received an email saying, ‘You’re in a video game,’ and I still freely admit I was thrilled to be included. I’ve never actually gotten Hearts of Iron, however, even if I rediscovered the Civilization series during the last Covid lockdown, and I was floored when, earlier this week, I came across a YouTube watch-me-play-HOI4 video with 29,000 views focusing on me for the first several minutes (until my character is overthrown by the dastardly Bill Clinton).

“Anyone who’s familiar with the spidered nature of the Web can instantly do the math and realize that through this game alone the two words ‘Unity Party’ are being spread far and wide through the Zeitgeist. In light of the fact that it’s also been brought to my attention recently that Powers That Be have expressed willingness to expend millions of dollars to establish Unity Party Texas, this on top of professional and unprompted polling performed by outside organizations regarding possibly taking on the ‘Unity Party’ label, it’d be crazy not to carry on past the momentary challenges for the Unity Party left behind by perennial amateurs who still seem to think they can shoot straight.
