The Constitutions
Our Constitutions United
(In One Place)
We Uniters have only the utmost respect for Constitutions and Laws and thus the Rule of Law (and our party’s experience in the early 2020s only confirmed why the RoL is so important, but more about that later). For now and below, just note some helpful links to constitutional resources on this and other websites.
Organizational (Party) Constitutions:
The Unity Party of America’s Constitution: Our Core Document
Die Parteisatzung Der Unity Party Of Germany (Proposed Party Bylaws of the UPG)
Constitution of the Unity Party of Dominica
National Constitutions (Of Countries Where Unity Has Been Or Is Being Established):
Das Grundgesetz (The Basic Law of the Federal Republic of Germany)
Official Constitution of the Unity Party of Dominica (Proposed)

All nominees for local office may be approved by a majority voice vote of committee members.
Section 3: Membership
All Dominicans interested in & agreeing with the Unity Party principles & platform may be a member of the Unity Party of Dominica.
Section 4: Constitutional Voting
This Constitution shall be deemed adopted and effective once two thirds of party members present at a national convention ratify this Constitution.
Any Amendment to this Constitution shall be deemed adopted and effective once two thirds of party members present at a national party convention ratify said amendment.
Section 5: Platform
The following positions are recognized as the Unity Party platform. Any changes to this platform require the approval of two-thirds of Unity Party members present at a national convention.
Term Limits
A limit of two five-year terms
Income Tax Abolition
Eliminate Dominican income taxes
Circular Economy (100% recycling products 100% made in Dominica)
In acknowledgment of the fact that climate change is a central issue in Dominica, the Unity Party advocates a 100% circular economy (100% recycling & 100% made in Dominica). This will create many good-paying jobs and make the nation self-sufficient.
Eliminate Dependence on China
It’s clear that China wants not just Dominica but most of the Caribbean either as its client states or as de facto puppets. The rest of this platform must be enacted to prevent this undemocratic domination.
Increase Tourism
More flights from Mexico and South America should be encouraged, as many of those countries have developing middle classes that are taking their first vacations.
Referendum on Joining the United States as the State of Dominique
Dominicans (Dominiquens, if such a referendum were to pass?) should be allowed to vote on a referendum on whether to join the United States as the State of Dominique (yes, it’s time to end the confusion with the Dominican Republic while we’re at it). The fact that English is the official language would help ease the transition, and the United States (Dominique included) would be strengthened in the Eastern Caribbean.
