The Second Republic

Welcome to the movement to establish the Second American Republic!

While we here at the Unity Party of America still stand by ideas like encouraging nations around the world to join the current United States as the 51st and additional states, we can only acknowledge the 2026 reality, as we head into the fall federal elections in the United States, that these elections will be, at best, deliberately muddled, and, at worst, openly stolen, ushering in the Age of American Totalitarianism that’s been years in the making.

We also know here at the Unity Party that the only way out of this predicament that all lovers of Freedom and Democracy find themselves in is Forward, Forward into a Second Republic, perhaps with the title of Union of the United States as a double nod to the European Experiment born out of the ashes of two World Wars and the American Experiment that had a nice run of 248 years. Nations around the world can be invited to join this supernational (misspelling intentional) organization, a hybrid of America 2.0, EU 2.0 and NATO 2.0 ready to work in Unity to solve the existential challenges of our time unaddressed by current regimes, including Climate Change, out-of-control Artificial Intelligence and out-of-control Executives.

All interested parties (including political parties) are welcome to reach out to the United Committees and help coordinate a first convention, perhaps in the Founder’s birth city of Bad Kreuznach, Germany (a hidden gem which happens to be in the heart of The West).

With Canada and the EU now talking about “Associate” memberships and the British PM talking about reversing Brexit, the future is closer than some might think. Stay tuned!
