85 Days, 107 Days, 259 Days, 730 Days

Tuesday, October 7, 2025 (A Really Narrow Beach) – The Founder and Chair of the Unity Party of America puts his own private 85-day injustice in perspective from a beachhead that’s admittedly starting to look more like Gallipoli than Normandy.

”While I’m not sure anyone, even a European, can elucidate how it takes 85 days to punch a button, there are a few other time spans only too easy to explain,” says Unity Chair Bill Hammons. “It’s clear now that 107 Days was just long enough to prove to the average American voter that, God help us all, 2025 could’ve been even worse than it already it is (and this mike-drop comment is coming from someone fighting for a refuge, for all Americans who are not blind, from an increasingly totalitarian reign of terror 259 days and counting in length).

“Of course the injustices enumerated by 85, 107 and 259 pale in comparison to the 730 days and counting since the culmination of another leader’s deliberately willful ignorance in the face of an extremist threat. And as I told family privately a full eight months ago, America (and, hence, the world) are now firmly in Humpty Dumpty Land. Speaking of 1648, the era of the Thirty Years’ War, and by extension, the city of my birth, it’s gratifying to see the generals start to get on the same page with someone who has the horrors of war in his DNA, but we sure ain’t putting this particular democracy back together again, folks. Forward UP.”
