The Day After, Today, The Day Before

Thursday, September 11, 2025 (Patrick Henry Village, Germany) – The Founder and Chair of the Unity Party of America takes a break, from the interruptions at the door of his room/office by fellow Americans starting to trickle into a German refugee camp, to provide his fellow Uniters and the world with a dose of reality.

”The death of Mr. Kirk is truly a great tragedy, and while I might have concerns about any election denier, he might’ve made a great Uniter one day,” says Unity Chair Bill Hammons. “While we as a nation don’t want to compound the personal tragedy of the loss of a loving husband and father of two with a national one, I think any fellow steely-eyed observer would agree, especially after our President’s absolutely-not-surprising address regarding the shooting, that the arc of some people trapped in their own universe is bending towards violence.

“I’m waiting for an after-action report from Uniters in Colorado (but presumably that was one event that went off without a hitch yesterday), I’m looking forward to today’s Morning Meeting with Mark Halperin and Co., and I anticipate a Forward Friday tomorrow full of passion and debate amongst Uniters. Take a minute today to remember those lost 24 years ago (I for one was certainly reminded this morning of how dangerous our world is by a German nationwide “Warntag” test, which I’m not entirely sure was such a bright idea to go through with [Oder?] as scheduled The Day After a historic breach of NATO air defenses). Forward UP.”
